Monterey, CA
- It has been nearly a year since Aaron Jeansonne’s maiden MX-5 Cup victory at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. As a local to Northern California, he sees the series’ lone west coast event as a big opportunity again this year. He hopes to not only get a repeat win at his home track, but he will also host an even larger group of his local sponsors and supporters this year. “The attendance and support I had from my California supporters and fans at this race last year was incredible” said Jeansonne. “This year, I am going to take advantage of this opportunity and host my new and returning partners from this area again. Their support has been crucial to my racing, and it’s a chance for me to show them up close and in person what makes MX-5 Cup racing so exciting.”
The weekend will see Jeansonne highlighting his partnership with Liberty Group, a financial services firm specializing in wealth management and financial planning whose headquarters are in Oakland, California. “I’m really proud to continue my partnership with Liberty Group into 2024. Our home event, being with IMSA around such an iconic track, is going to be the perfect venue to host Liberty Group and their guests, and to share Liberty Group’s story with the motorsports community.”
Included in Jeansonne’s impressive list of local supporters who will be attending are members of his primary sponsor, the Turn 2 Driver’s Club. Many of its members race wheel to wheel in the same MX-5 Cup cars at Turn 2 Driver’s Club. Sierra Pacific Industries, BlastX, Trefethen Family Vineyards, 181 Fremont Residences, VSRS Motorsports, Morling Financial Advisors, Bay Area Implants and Periodontics, Z Car Garage, and Sierra Regional Spine Institute are some of Jeansonne’s other important supporters in the region showing their support. Jeansonne’s championship fight is also continuing to be supported by GGT Energy Solutions and the Wings and Wheels Foundation.
