9 June 2020 – Following feedback from the Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires® community the previously announced RicmoTech Global Mazda Super Series has been postponed until the winter offseason.

As the racing world gradually returns to tangible race tracks, MX-5 Cup drivers are finding their schedules increasingly busy. In light of this, the next MX-5 Cup eSeries, which was scheduled to begin June 9, has been deferred to the offseason. Exact dates have yet to be determined, but more information will be available at the close of the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup season.

For now, drivers and teams can look forward to the MX-5 Cup series test at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on July 1 and the season opening event at Road America, July 22 – 24.
