Bringing six drivers to California, Hixon Motor Sports (HMS) will aim to keep their momentum going in rounds five and six of the 14-race season.

    It was the second event weekend of the Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by BF Goodrich and Max Opalski was looking to build upon his solid results from January's event at the Daytona International Speedway. Taking on the Streets of St. Petersburg this past weekend, Opalski continued his presence in the top-ten and left the weekend sitting seventh in the overall championship point standings.

  • Hixon Motor Sports Adds Bailey Cruse for a Trio of MX-5 Cup Races

    The 2023 Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires (MX-5 Cup) Driver, Team, and Rookie of the Year Championship point leaders are set to introduce a new driver to the Hixon Motor Sports (HMS) powerhouse program. Inking a deal for a three-race program, Bailey Cruse will pilot an HMS-prepared MX-5 Cup car at Road America, at VIRginia International Raceway, and at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

  • Zilisch Wins St. Pete Street Fight in MX-5 Cup Race Two

    After narrowly missing out on a win in the first Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires race at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Connor Zilisch (No. 72 Hixon Motor Sports) got the job done in Race Two on Saturday. Zilisch lead the field to the finish line in a race that ended under full-course yellow.
