After topping the sole practice session for the Alana Long 100 at Road America on Wednesday, Robert Noaker (No. 13 Copeland Motorsports) proved it was no fluke by topping Thursday qualifying as well. Noaker will share the front row with Michael Carter (No. 08 Carter Racing Enterprises).

The long-awaited start to the 2020 Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires® has finally arrived. Last year’s Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires® doubleheader at Road America carried the title of The Alana Long 100, in honor of a special member of the Mazda Motorsports family. This year’s event at Road America continues that tradition as the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup events at the Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin track have been named in her memory.

Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires® teams gathered at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for a single-day test on Wednesday.

The Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires® is returning to the race track for a one-day test at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on July 1. The championship was originally slated to launch at Barber Motorsports Park in April, but went on hiatus to prepare for a safe return to race action.
