(April 6, 2019) – In an early Saturday morning qualifying session, Michael Carter claimed pole position for Round Three of the Battery Tender® Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires®. Fellow rookie Gresham Wagner took his first series pole position for Round Four, which goes green a mere four hours after Round Three concludes. In the ND1 category for the previous generation Global Mazda MX-5 Cup car, Alabama native Nathanial Sparks swept pole position for both races.
