  • Bryan Simpson Hixon Signs 3-Year HMS Contract

    Bryan Hixon, sole owner of Hixon Motor Sports (HMS), returns to the 2021 Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires championship with a long-term multi-car initiative. Hixon competed a full 2020 season alongside teammate Justin Piscitell who earned the team a podium finish at the 2020 season finale at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. Under his motto, Carpe Somnium, “seize the dream,” Hixon proudly announces past Mazda scholarship winner Selin Rollan and Savanna Little, who recently earned the first Mazda female scholarship to the HMS driver lineup.

  • Savanna Little, First Female MX-5 Cup Shootout Scholarship Winner Joins Hixon Motor Sports

    Savanna Little, Mazda’s first female MX-5 Cup Shootout Scholarship winner, has signed with Hixon Motor Sports for the 2021 MX-5 Cup Presented by BFGoodrich® Tires. Little earned herself a $75,000 scholarship during the 2020 Mazda MX-5 Cup Shootout at Road Atlanta which took place November 15-16th. Joining Hixon Motor Sports in the MX-5 Cup and IMSA paddock marks her first professional season.

  • Michael Carter and Carter Racing Enterprises to Defend Title in 2021

    Michael Carter will be returning to the Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires in 2021 to defend his Championship Title. He will be utilizing the $200,000 scholarship to return to the series with family owned team, Carter Racing Enterprises, driving the familiar No. 08 car. The Carters are looking to carry their momentum into the 2021 season opener in Daytona.
