If there’s one thing Bryce Cornet wants more than anything else this Christmas, it’s a full-season ride in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin. He didn’t spend much time behind the wheel in 2024, but he has been making sure he ends up on Santa’s ‘nice’ list.

Ashlyn Speed (Mansfield, TX), winner of the 2024 Mazda Women in Motorsport Initiative Scholarship will race with Hendricks Motorsports in the 2025 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin.

CB Motorsports, a name in the racing industry with over 30 years of experience, is coming home in 2025. Confirming their entry in the IMSA-sanctioned Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Michelin, CB Motorsports has also inked a deal with race-winning driver coach Jim Daniels.

The 2024 Mazda MX-5 Cup Shootout approaches, November 11 – 12, where 12 aspiring racers will vie for a scholarship valued at $150,000 from Mazda to compete in the 2025 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin season. The Shootout candidates were selected after demonstrating potential in a wide variety of racing and will look to convert this opportunity into their next racing chapter in 2025.
