Austin, TX (March 21, 2018) - The 2018 Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires season will kick off with a double-header event at the Circuit of the Americas this weekend. The race weekend is the first of six double-header events that will comprise the 2018 Global Mazda MX-5 Cup championship season and will be staged at the Formula 1-grade facility as part of the World Challenge weekend.

Birmingham, Ala. (March 4, 2018) - The Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires held a successful ‘spring training’ session at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama this weekend to launch the 2018 season.

(BROWNSBURG, Ind.) March 2, 2018 – Robert Stout, the 2017 Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup Rookie-of-the-Year, has re-signed with McCumbee McAleer Racing for the upcoming 2018 MX-5 Cup series season. Stout’s No. 28 MX-5 will again feature partners Lucas Oil Products, Lucas Oil Racing TV, SC Fuels, Impact Racing and CatSpot.
